One of the fun things of doing a group project is the wonderful variety in the results.      Individuality, personality and preferences add up to very unique looks, even though we all started with basically the same kit that Anita put together for us.  The creativity and wide range of talents of our members are beautifully showcased in these galleries.

The box that gave birth to this web site was created by the Fearless Leader of our Micro Minis List -– ANITA MCNARY-HAYNES.  To view more of her creations, visit her web site and her Picture Trail albums.

Mary Wrenn’s Version

This beautiful rendition of the White Christmas Room was created by prolific miniaturist MARY WRENN.  You can view more pictures of her room, and other minis in a variety of scales, at her Wren’s Nest web site.

Alice’s Version

Alice’s version is a mirror image of the original plan.  Another change in this rendition is that instead of a Christmas tree she placed a grand piano in the platform area.

In this view with the top off the floor plan is visible and so is the white grand piano, as well as the Palladian windows in the platform area.  Note that Alice also added the display shelves flanking the fireplace, which are part of the original Brooke Tucker 1/12 scale roombox.  You can see more of Alice’s creations by visiting her Alice’s Dollhouse web site.

Tina’s Version

Tina’s ultra luxurious room, although it basically has the same elements as the other ones, looks very different.  She used a marbled finish for the walls, and round columns, instead of square ones.

The top view shows more clearly the layout of the floor plan, as well as the tree on the platform and the room’s furnishings.  Tina covered the top and front of the room with a piece of clear plastic sheet, lightly scored to bend it at the top front corner.  This method allows for light and easy viewing, while eliminating the need to wire the box.
